Inheritance and estates
An inheritance can be settled at the notary's in a few weeks or get stuck for years if the heirs don't agree. We help you make a will, accept or renounce an inheritance and, if necessary, defend your share.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about inheritance
How long is there to pay inheritance tax?
In the Valencia region, six months from the date of death, extendable if requested within the first five.
Do I have to accept an inheritance?
No. You can accept it, renounce it or accept it 'with benefit of inventory', which limits your liability for debts to what you inherit.
What happens if there is no will?
The family inherits in the order set by law and a declaration of heirs is needed, before a notary or in court depending on the case.
